Rachael Goodrich, founder of The Alternative Foodie

The Alternative Foodie was born from a simple truth: early-stage brands need more than a name on a broker roster. They need a strategic partner inside foodservice who will actively make the rounds, open doors, and stay close to the business. After years working with distributors, GPOs, and operators, founder Rachael Goodrich saw too many promising brands tripped up by models built for retail scale, not foodservice nuance. She built The Alternative Foodie to change that—bringing strategic thinking, topline revenue focus, and measured growth to every engagement.

 

We operate as a fractional sales team for emerging food and beverage brands, delivering the strategic thinking and broad experience needed to win in foodservice - without the heavy broker layers. With more than 100 years of combined expertise across channel development, sales operations, distribution, GPOs, and operator relationships, our team gives you broker-level reach in a lean, agile model built for growth.
